Meet entrepreneur and talent buyer Josh Bru

Chicago is one of the most populated cities in the U.S. and is the best place for nightlife activities and events. Ever wondered who are the brains behind such entertaining yet well-organized events? Josh Brusilovsky, or Josh Bru as popularly known in the industry, is include among them. He has booked over $250,000 worth of artists in various Nightlife venues across the city of Chicago, and other places in the U. S. And He is an established and one of the leading talent buyers in Chicago with over 4 years of experience in the Entertainment industry.

He came to this city to pursue business at DePaul University. He soon started doing promotions for small nightlife venues as a side hustle. However, Josh Bru’s growing success turned it into a full-time profession, and he even started his own Entertainment Company. Bru was in the process of hiring dozens of promoters for his company to help him assist in marketing events throughout colleges in Chicago before the pandemic. In no time, Josh collaborated with various high-profile Celebrities, famous music events, and other influential organizations in Chicago. He wishes to scale in the industry by gaining access and booking high-ticket clientele.

The artist’s bookings primarily include after-shows, parties, and other events separate from the original event where the artist performed. Josh usually partners with a nightlife venue. Such as a concert hall or nightclub and attracts an audience by implementing a thorough promotional campaign throughout Chicago. This work is done by the promoter who Josh hire. The marketing campaign involves a social media plan of offering giveaways and also prizes. These are bound to attract more traffic and boost ticket sales.

With a client list that includes DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, Migos, Jack Hallow. Shoreline Mafia, Playboy Carti, Blueface, 24KGoldn, and also Saweetie. Josh believes that an event should be considere successful. Only when the money generated is three to four times the money invested in booking the artist. He believes that it is a good way of making money.

Josh now wants to expand his scope and venture into Artist Management and also A&R. He wishes to work with more artists. He plans to use the connections that he has built over the last four years to accelerate his career in the Artist Management sector.
