Once you find your passion, giving up is never an option. Paul Alqas and Patrick Ditzel discovered their passion in music, and in pursuit of their passion, a musical band was formed – Cafe Disko. Their music is now creating quite a buzz in the industry.

Popularly known for their single Santeria featuring DIVMOND, the duo is redefining the sound of music. By fusing electro-pop with hip-hop and disco, they are creating a unique sound. They have opened for A-list DJs and rappers, among them Chance The Rapper and T-pain. Several of their songs have also had more than one million plays.

According to Cafe Disko, while it all started as a couple of sessions, the duo’s chemistry and unique yet similar vision continue to draw them together. Music has made them close friends. You can’t force a good duo; their compatibility and unique sound have enabled them to form a dynamic team.

Asked about future aspirations, Cafe Disko says as they continue to provide their fan base with good music. Their dream is to sign with a label and get a full-time manager. Working as an independent artist, so much needs to be taken care of, which leaves you feeling exhausted. By signing with a label, they will get more time to focus on creating music without dealing with the many outside factors. Cafe Disko is also looking to release more collaborations with various artists.
