Baby Cate shares new rap song ‘SLEEP’

Baby Cate, a Massachusetts native rapper, songwriter and producer, drops new hip hop song ‘SLEEP’.

Born Caitlin Michelle Simon in Mississippi’s capital city, she started making music at the age of 10. Following her self-tutor guitar lessons, Caitlin went about developing her piano and production skills. At-present, Michelle is leaning towards a solitary career, crafting sounds and staying independent.

Shortly after attending high school, Baby Cate proceeded into Hofstra University, with aim of studying Music Business. In 2018, Baby unveiled her debut SoundCloud-exclusive single ‘faded’. Coming after is the lead single ‘around’, for her self-titled mixtape released in year 2019.

The following year (2020), saw a 4-track extended playlist ‘Self Love’, single ‘Faded, Pt. II’ and sophomore tape ‘23’ from Cate. By 2021, a supplementary EP ‘UFO’, made its way to her fans in September.

As of this time of writing, she has already made a name for herself. Baby Cate’s most current release ‘SLEEP’, portrays waking up from a good dream, that didn’t have a proper or wholesome ending.
